Founded during the roaring 20’s of the last century, LUPO is a Spanish firm surrounded by art and mediterranean life.
Since the beginning the firm became recognized for the quality and the savoir-faire of its leather pieces. The excellence of its creations blend zeitgeist, technology and craftsmanship.
During the 1920’s in the city center of Barcelona, an artisan opened an atelier of bespoke trunks and luggage. The quality of his works quickly transcended and he gained an outstanding clientele.
The Barcelona International Fair was celebrated in 1929 where the nouveau architectural styles of the XX century were exhibited. Fortuitously, the travel accessories discovered by many of the visitors crossed continental boundaries. The business prospered and in the late 80’s the first LUPO handbags were designed.
